What is Stellar?

Stellar is a music discovery and visualization app that lets you explore connections between artists as interactive galaxy maps. Discover new music by navigating through artist relationships, save your favorite maps, and share them with friends.

How do I create an account?

Tap the "Sign In" button and select "Create Account." You'll need to provide a display name, username, email address, and password. If you have an invite code from a friend, you can enter it during registration to automatically connect with them.

How do I explore and discover music?

Enter one or more seed artists to generate a galaxy map. Each node represents an artist, and connections show musical similarity. Tap on any artist to preview their music, view details, or use them as a new seed to explore further.

How do I personalize and create my universe?

You can mark artists to personalize your experience. Favorites are artists you love, discoveries are artists you found on Stellar, dislikes are artists you'd rather not see in recommendations, and neutral sit in between but are also removed from universe recommendations.

How do I add friends?

Search for other users by their username in the Friends section and send them a friend request. You can also create an invite link to share with someone who doesn't have an account yet — they'll be automatically added as your friend when they sign up.

What is the Universe view?

The Universe is a visualization of all your favorited and discovered artists, clustered by genre and musical similarity. It updates as you add or remove artists from your collection.

Can I share my maps with others?

Yes! You can share any galaxy or universe map via a link. Anyone with the link can view the map, even without a Stellar account.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive an email with a link to set a new password. The link expires after one hour.

How do I delete my account?

Go to your profile by tapping your avatar, select "Edit Profile," and scroll to the bottom. Tap "Delete Account" and confirm with your password. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Is my data private?

Yes. We use Google Analytics to understand general traffic patterns, but we do not use advertising or other tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
